Our History
Buhler Beef is committed to consistently delivering top quality, Premium Longhorn Beef to ALL of our customers. We are incredibly grateful for the growth of our small family business over the last number of years and will be finishing over 300 steers in 2026!
We ship steers every week, year round so you don't have to wait to fill your freezer. Also, you'll be feeding your family the same Premium beef found in some of Calgary's finest restaurants.

Longhorn Beef
Longhorn cattle grow at a slower rate than other beef cattle and carry their fat/marbling in the muscle fibres vs a thick layer of fat around the outside of the muscle.
This process takes time and cannot be rushed, but the results are worth the wait! All of our steers are grass fed before being finished on a custom designed barley ration to ensure consistency and perfection every time!
Buhler Beef guarantees our Premium Longhorn Beef to be free of any growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics and promise that you'll be 100% satisfied with the quality and flavour which is second to none.

Minimum order of $400 for home delivery (within an hour of Nanton, Alberta).
Deliveries over an hour away can be easily arranged, with a meeting point that works mutually. Our freezer van keeps orders frozen for those longer hauls.
